Food for Thought

The award winning Dean Academy restaurant, Food for Thought, is run by our own excellent catering team. It is open to students at breakfast, break and lunchtime. The restaurant is bright and modern with seating available so that students can sit and eat in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere using proper crockery and cutlery. Food is locally sourced where possible and some products are grown on site. All food is prepared and cooked on site and provides students with a variety of nutritional and tasty meals at affordable prices. To offer as much variety as possible the restaurant  rotates its menu every three weeks. Vegetarian options are available and special dietary needs can be catered for with prior arrangement. Throughout the year the restaurant adds  fun and an educational slant to the menu by recognising national days such as St. Patrick’s Day and St. George’s day and of course the special Christmas dinner. We now have more variety of gluten free products e.g. rolls, sliced bread, pizza bases, flour, tortilla wraps, batter, gravy and pork sausages. We also provide gluten free pasta and sauce.
